I enjoy the technical side of photography, from lighting and composition to building an entire scene around an idea. But I also know when to put all of that aside, give people some room, and let things happen.

The person behind the images
I've spent years behind the camera, and I still enjoy the challenges that come with every shoot. Finding the right light, working with a difficult location, or taking an idea and figuring out how to make it work.
Outside of client sessions, I teach photography, experiment with new techniques, and develop my own creative projects. I'm particular about the details, straightforward in how I work, and comfortable adapting when things don't go according to plan.
